Tragedy Strikes: Little Meryem Lost Her Battle for Life
The accident occurred on August 28th. An automobile with license plate number 34 DB 1560, driven by M.K. from Koçak village towards Erbaa, collided with a commercial taxi, a Fiat with license plate number 60 T 0909, driven by M.Y. on 15 Temmuz Şehit Birol Yavuz Street. The accident resulted in injuries to the car driver M.K., Meryem Ahsen Alp (3 years old), A.E., S.A., the taxi driver M.Y., and the passenger G.Ö. The injured were taken to Erbaa State Hospital by ambulances. 3-year-old Meryem Ahsen Alp, whose condition was critical, was initially transferred to Tokat State Hospital and then to Ankara Etlik City Hospital. Among the injured, S.A. had lost her 4-month-old baby. Unfortunately, Meryem Ahsen Alp, who was severely injured and under medical care, lost her 11-day battle for life.
