Unusual Wedding in Sinop!
The president of the Sinop Saraydüzü Yukarı Akpınar Village Association, Hüseyin Erşahin and Döndü Erşahin’s daughter Gülşah, tied the knot with Sangpil Kwon, the son of the Korean couple Seon Yeong and Taek Yeong Yun. The wedding, held at the Yıldızay Wedding & Prom & Invite salon in Istanbul Ataşehir, reflected traces of both Turkish and Korean cultures.
The groom Sangpil showed great interest in Turkish traditions. During the jewelry ceremony, the Korean groom entertained the guests by dancing with the gift coin and generously tipping the drummer, becoming a true “Turkish-style groom”. The splendid moments, amidst the applause of the guests, added joy to the night.
Welcomed warmly by the bride’s side and the guests, the Korean groom was enchanted by the warm hospitality of the people of Sinop. It was learned that Gülşah, who is a teacher, studied Korean Language and Literature, and the couple will continue their post-marriage life in South Korea.
The elders expressed great happiness from the marriage that will be a means of friendship between the two countries.
