Tragedy in Sinop Due to Gunfight
Reportedly, the incident took place in Akbel village, a part of the Durağan district. It is said that an argument erupted between Murat Dal and Ş.K. for reasons yet unknown. The situation quickly escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in Murat Dal being severely injured by Ş.K. using a hunting rifle.
Upon receiving the notification, both medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After receiving initial treatment at Durağan State Hospital, Dal was transferred to Sinop Atatürk State Hospital for intensive care. Despite all efforts, he could not be saved.
It has been informed that following the funeral prayer to be held in Akbel village tomorrow, Murat Dal will be laid to rest in the village cemetery. The suspect, Ş.K., has been taken into custody by the gendarmerie. The investigation is ongoing.
